The City of Oxford is one of Britain’s fastest growing places to live, with a bulge in the population currently hitting the primary schools, and placing a strain on existing services, such as around the Cowley Road. ONSchool will be placed in the South of the city, where there is a great opportunity to expand community provision and provide a heart to an area with great energy and potential. The school already has excellent links with Oxford Spires Academy, and seeks to expand this to the other schools in the area.
ONSchool has a mutli-generational partnership strategy, where children learning at the school, will learn from teachers, but also people of all ages from around the community. This includes local businesses and charities, but also the universities and older people’s services. ONSchool is in discussions with Science Oxford, and the Oxford Trust - to provide expert support in the teaching of the STEM subjects (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics).
